The Nac Short Film Festival focuses on the independent filmmaker that creates films in East Texas as well as networking opportunities for all that attend the film festival. If you are willing to come to Nacogdoches, Texas on the day of the event we will show your film if selected!

From 7-9 p.m., we will screen the short films selected.
9 - 9:30 pm, there is a Q&A with the short film filmmakers.
9:30 pm - The Audience will vote, and the $100 Audience Choice Award Winner will be announced.
This is a FREE event to attend and to submit East Texas films!

Awards
$100 Audience Choice Award - Must be present to win.
The audience will pick the winner of the Audience Choice Award.
There are many opportunities to network and share your short films with other filmmakers and new audiences.
Share your film and talk with others active in filmmaking!

Rules
​
Films must be under 15 minutes, including credits - the tighter your story, the better.
Narrative, documentaries, and original music videos will all be considered!
Films should be no older than five years.
Please only submit content you, the filmmaker, would consider PG-13 and under.
Preference is given to films completed in East Texas. However, we will screen your film if you are willing to attend the event.
The filmmaker or at least one person involved with the film must attend the event to have the film screened or to be eligible to win awards.
Participant Agreement Required Legal Infomation :
I represent and warrant that I have full legal right and authority to submit the heretofore-mentioned film project for consideration by Nac Short Film Festival and that all the necessary consents, licensing, and approvals have been obtained with respect thereto. I agree to hold the consents, licenses, and approvals of the heretofore film project. I, the submitter, have read the terms and conditions appearing herein and agree, without exception, to all the terms and conditions stated.
The Nac Short Film Festival assumes no liability whatsoever for theft, copyright violations, or piracy of the entry.
If accepted, filmmakers must provide a download link for their short film through FilmFreeway, Google Drive, Dropbox, Wetransfer, or similar services.
Digital screeners only via FilmFreeway.
Financial assistance for travel is not provided.
There are no screening fees available to be paid to filmmakers.
Screening selections are at the sole discretion of the Festival judges, and all decisions are final.
By submitting your film to the Nac Short Film Festival, you agree to the following:
I have read, understood, and fully complied with all submission eligibility information, Submission Guidelines, Terms and Conditions of Entry, and Entry Eligibility requirements.
To the best of my knowledge, all of the statements in this submission are true.
The film or video being submitted is not subject to any litigation nor is threatened by any litigation, and I am authorized to submit this film to the festival.
I hold the Nac Short Film Festival and its production/promotion team harmless from any claims of liability for anything that might occur during the course of the festival or screening of the film.
I certify that I have full rights to the use of the music, print, images, and everything contained in the film and/or promotional materials of the submitted film. I understand that if I have misrepresented my authority to use any of these elements, my film may be disqualified with no return of any submission fee if required.
I give permission for the Nac Short Film Festival to use stills, titles, trailers, copy, and/or information from the film for promotional purposes.
I give permission for the Nac Short Film Festival to screen the film at the Festival for which it was submitted.
